agilentics runs agilentics.com and the apps on its subdomains:
- agilentics - agilentics.com
- Messenger - messenger.agilentics.com
- adonis - adonis.agilentics.com
- Buck You - buckyou.app and buckyou.agilentics.com
This page covers what they have in common: signing in with Google, and the Google data some of them ask for. Each app's own privacy page lists everything else it stores.
Signing in with Google
Signing in asks Google only for your name, email address and profile picture. Each app keeps its own account record with your Google account ID, email address, name and, in some apps, profile picture. Signing in gives no app access to your mail, files, contacts or health data.
Google data an app asks for when you connect it
These are asked for separately, on a screen from Google that lists them, and only when you choose to connect the service.
- Messenger - Gmail (read, change and send mail)
- To show your Gmail inbox next to your other messages, to mark, label, archive and delete messages when you ask, and to send what you write. For recent messages (90 days unless you choose otherwise) Messenger keeps a list entry: sender, recipients, subject, a short preview, dates, and read, star and label state. The full text and attachments are fetched from Google when you open a message and are not stored.
- adonis - Google Health (read only: body measurements, activity and fitness, sleep)
- To chart your weight, steps, calories, workouts and sleep next to your own entries. adonis stores the readings it imports.
- agilentics - Google Contacts (read only)
- To add the people you know to your agilentics network and keep that list up to date.
The connection's credentials are stored encrypted. Data is stored in Google Cloud in the United States.
Limited Use
The apps' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular, data from Google is:
- used only to provide the features described above, which you can see in the app;
- not sold, and not used for advertising;
- not used to train AI models;
- not read by people, except with your permission, to investigate a security problem or a fault you report, or where the law requires it.
Disconnecting and deleting
Removing a connection in the app stops it reading from Google and deletes the stored credentials. You can also withdraw an app's access at Google, under Third-party apps & services in your Google Account. To delete your account, use the app's account page or write to us.
